In 1991, Aqua Mobile Marine Services, founded by Jim McKinnon, embarked on its business journey from a home-based workshop. We initially specialised in providing a complete mobile service for onsite Marine Mechanical Repairs and Services. Our operations were centered around the Redcliffe Peninsula, extending our services to customers from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast.

Jim and Lisa’s son, Ryan, followed his passion for boating by joining the family business, where he commenced his Marine Mechanical Technology Apprenticeship. Ryan not only brought his skills and technical expertise but also a deep love for fishing, amplifying his interest in Marine Technology & Electronics

As our client list rapidly expanded, Aqua Mobile Marine Services outgrew its home-based workshop. In response, we relocated to a spacious 700sqm workshop in the Clontarf Industrial Estate on the Redcliffe Peninsula. This strategic move not only accommodated our growth but also paved the way for us to expand into a dealership for Garmin and Fusion Marine Electronics, further enhancing our capabilities and offerings.

In January of this year, we joyously celebrated our 30th Anniversary in business. As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing your experience, we are excited to introduce our new Online Shop & Website. Now, you can conveniently explore our offerings and make informed purchases from the comfort of your home.
